Cancellation Policy

Registration Cancellation by Participant

• Cancellations with 30 business days notice to the event date will be eligible for a refund of 100% of the registration cost.
• Cancellations with less than 30 business days notice to the event date will not be eligible for a refund. Participants are however welcome to transfer their booking / spot the workshop to another person. Please advise participant transfers in writing.
• Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend the event.
• Cancellations or participant transfers will be accepted in writing only via email to hello@theshadybaker.com. Emails must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
• All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.
• Refund requests must include the full name of the attendee.
• Refunds will be credited back to a bank account nominated by participant.

Event cancellation by ‘The Shady Baker’

• We reserve the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.
• If The Shady Baker cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund.
• Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at a new, future date.

Limit of liability

We aim to provide a safe and educational experience environment for our workshops. However, no responsibility will be taken by The Shady Baker or any parties involved in the management of workshops, for damage or loss of personal property at the workshop location; nor liability for personal injury caused by actions of the participant.

We shall have no liability for any events for which we have no control, including but not limited to: damages, losses, expenses; including those resulting directly or indirectly from acts of God, detention, annoyance, weather, quarantines, strikes, civil disturbance, communicable disease, theft or criminal activity of any kind, government regulations, change of mind. In no event shall we have any liability for incidental or consequential damages, resulting from, but not limited to, the above.

Payment of workshop or event associated fees or ticket costs represents your acceptance of any and all terms and conditions outlined on any page of on our website.
