Bare fruit trees in the morning light, lovingly pruned by some special visitors. ย Thanks Mum and Feres x

Sunrise at our front door.

Nature table.

A new sheep dog puppy.

We have been cooking and keeping warm almost nonstop in our outdoor kitchen.

Planting Kipfler seed potatoes.

Are you pruning, planting or collecting at the moment?

Is the morning light pretty at your place?

I always love coming to visit your place Jane.
And how exciting a new puppy!!
    What's its name?
And yes, we've been planting a fruit and nut forest, making plans to prune the apples and collecting chooks overnight to sell them in the mornings.
    Have a wonderful weekend. x

It looks so lovely. I love the nature table and what a cute puppy. I think your outdoor kitchen is a great idea and it does look like a nice place to keep warm. Mr Sparky's mate is digging potatoes at the moment.

I bet the new puppy addition is getting plenty of cuddles.
I've got a little collection of spotted chook feathers happening on the window sill.
As for planting in the garden i'm eagerly awaiting the last frost so I can get the summer vegies in.
Is it the right time to plant garlic now though Jane? x

beautiful photos and thoughts, jane. i needed your special visitors yesterday – i had to prune off half my rose bush here; it was dead.
your morning light is soft and golden and so very different to ours here in tassie. i have seen some pretty pink sunrises though lately; they are always a special start to the day.

I love mornings and last week we had some beautiful sunrises with the moon still in the sky and the horizon a bright orange. Good to see you are getting some spuds in, are your frosts almost finished for the year? Great photos as always.

Thanks Lizzie. We may have some more frost but nothing too severe hopefully. I planted my spuds fairly deeply so they should be safe if I keep them mulched etc.

Love you've been cooking and keeping warm outdoors this winter in your outdoor kitchen. The new puppy looks gorgeous, bet your children were excited about that. The morning and late afternoon light has been nice at our place lately, it's nice to stop for a moment and take it in.

Such a beautiful post, Jane, both words and pictures. Thank you for sharing. Lately, I have not been doing much at all…. until I can recover from this pneumonia, life will be a little more sedentary.
